QHP donates $475,000 in used medical equipment to 75 facilities in Ghana

In July 2008, QHP donated used medical equipment donated by the U.S. Military to 75 facilities in Ghana. The supplies include surgical equipment, tables, lights, microscopes and other items.

First Ladies Laura Bush and Theresa Kuffour Visit Maamobi Polyclinic

In February 2008 the first ladies visited Maamobi Polyclinic to discuss increased funding to fight malaria through the President's Malaria Initiative. QHP will be supporting the Ghana Health Service to implement activities to reduce the transmission of malaria in Ghana.
