Vision

QHP's Vision for 2009 is to strive to achieve the following:

Informed Ghanaian women and men freely act to demand, influence, pay for, and use high quality reproductive and child health (RCH) services.
An appropriate constellation of high quality RCH service is available to efficiently meet the health needs of clients in public and private health facilities at each level of the health system, or by effective referral between facilities.
Motivated and gender-sensitive health providers deliver RCH services in accordance with current best practice standards, guidelines and protocols.
A -culture of quality- pervades the health care system from bottom to top with health providers and facilities and the communities they serve using continuous approaches to improve the quality of services that are gender sensitive and responsive to client needs.
In support of these results, the GHS/MOH - at all levels - has institutionalized planning and implementation capacity to routinely implement a comprehensive quality assurance program and to train, deploy, manage and retain an adequate supply of health personnel to serve clients and communities RCH needs.
