It summarizes the achievements of the QHP program with regard to establishing quality assurance teams in target facilities in Ghana and also looks at the range of quality assurance activities that have been institutionalized in these facilities.

Facility Baseline Assessment - Presentation of Key Findings (100 KB, PDF File)

This presentation provides the highlights and key findings from the facility baseline assessment, a comprehensive analysis of facilities in the 30 target districts in the seven southern regions of Ghana, as well as all 10 regional hospitals. The findings address information on general management, facilities, quality assurance programs, IMCI, Family Planning, Safe Motherhood (including ANC, Delivery and Neonatal Care), STIs and HIV/AIDS. Avian Influenza - Debriefing on Ghana's Preparedness Planning (79 KB, PDF File)

This presentation reviews the steps the Avian Influenza working group had taken from its inception until November 2005 to prepare for Avian Influenza in Ghana. The working group includes USAID, WHO, Government of Ghana Ministries (Ministry of Health, Ghana Health Service, Food and Agriculture, Veterinary Services, Ministry of Interior, National Disaster Management Organization) and other key stakeholders. QHP is assisting the Government of Ghana to undertake active surveillance in the country.
